In BLACK AND WHITE author and Woodbridge Town Football Club historian Richard Scott chronicles over 150 years of football played in the town, from its 19th century origin in schools, the 1879 formation of a football club almost exclusively patronised by the academic and professional classes, its early transformation to enable participation for working class townsfolk and its long journey towards the multi team 21st century football club we are familiar with today.
The book is ordered chronologically presenting a season by season summary documenting the successes and failures experienced on the field of play, profiling notable club officials and the players making a significant number of first team appearances.
Appendices document the perpetual struggle by the club to establish a permanent home venue within the town, a record of all club officials and players representing the men's first team, playing records of the reserves, women's, veterans and under 18's and the honours obtained by all Woodbridge Town teams
